![]() The last major bit of work carried out at this stage was to swap the front and rear shock/body mounts around. I’ve subsequently used loctite on the new kingpin, but also sourced a set of Optima alloy knuckles (genuine Kyosho) for the future. Investigating the knuckle though lead to the discovery of a very damaged thread. Luckily I’ve got spares of these and quickly sorted that out.Īnother missing part, this time a kingpin screw, no big deal but that did require ordering a set. It turns out that for whatever reason there were no 5.8mm balls installed. This fault was a wobble in the upper arms of the rear suspension. ![]() ![]() Tear this thing down and get parts to fix the obvious issues (like the clutch), get the motor running and try and get the whole combination going. The next steps were pretty straight forward.
